surah 85 the great stars

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

By the sky with many stars,

and, by the Promised Day,

and by what is witnessed, and what is not witnessed,

the Companions of the Trench, will be cursed

 for not allowing others to Believe in God.

And, when they sit, they will be engulfed by the fueled fire of Hell,

and sit as witnesses to that which they used to do against the Believers.

And, they only resented the Believers because of their Belief in God.

Allah is the Most Exalted in Might, worthy of All Praise,

to whom belongs the dominion of all the heavens and the earth.

And, God is over all things, a Witness.

Indeed, those who have tortured the Believers, and have not repented,

will incur the punishment of Hell,

and they will have the punishment of the Fiery Blaze.

However, those who have Believed,

and done Righteous good deeds, will have Gardens

underneath which rivers flow.  That is the ultimate attainment.

Indeed, your Lord’s wrath is severe upon the DisBelievers.

It is He who originates life, then repeats it.

And, He is the Most Forgiving, the Compassionate.

The Honorable Owner of the Throne of Authority,

He who carries out all that He intends to.

Has the story reached you about Pharoah’s and Thamud’s soldiers?

They who DisBelieve in God are in persistent denial of the Truth,

and He will overcome them from behind.

But, this is a honorable Qur’an,

inscribed on a preserved slate.
