(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)
One of the DisBelievers in the Hereafter,
asked God to bring on the punishment.
There is no prevention of this for the DisBelievers.
It is from God alone, the Owner of the Paths of Ascent.
The angels and the Archangel Gabriel will ascend to God
during the Day, in fifty thousand years.
So, be patient with humble patience.
Indeed, they see it as some distant time,
but, We see it as near.
On that Day, the sky will be like molten metal,
And, the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up and then disintegrating,
and no friend will ask anything of another friend,
though they may see each other.
The evildoer will wish that he could be ransomed by his children
to avoid the punishment of that Day,
and, by his wife and his brother,
and the nearest family member who provides shelter for him,
and anyone else on earth that could save him.
No, it will never be! Indeed, he is destined for the Flame of Hellfire,
and all of his exterior will be burned away.
Hell invites he who has turned away from the Truth,
and is defiantly disobedient,
and hoards his wealth and gives nothing away in charity.
Indeed, mankind was created impatient;
when evil touches him he becomes anxious,
and when good comes to him he hoards it to himself.
Excepted are those who pray to God –
those who are constant in their prayers,
and those who give of their wealth in charity
to those who pray and are in need,
and who Believe in the Day of Recompense,
and are conscious of their Sovereign Lord.
But, those who are fearful of the punishment of their Lord,
indeed, there is no safe place to hide from the punishment.
And, those who guard their private parts,
from everyone but their spouse, will have no guilt.
But, whoever seeks beyond that, then they are sinners.
Those who are true to their promises and trusts,
and those who tell the truth in their testimony,
and those who are very careful about praying to God,
they will be in the honorable Gardens of Paradise.
O Prophet Muhammad, what is the matter with the DisBelievers,
that they hurry from before you?
They sit on your left and your right mocking you.
Doesn’t everyone aspire to live in the Gardens of Paradise?
How can they expect Paradise, but by the Will of their Creator, Allah?
So, I promise by the Sovereign Lord who makes the sun, moon,
and the stars to rise and set, that indeed We are able
to replace those people with other people;
and, We will not be outdone.
So, leave them to their vain discourses, and let them amuse themselves
until the Day comes that they were promised –
The Resurrection Day when the graves will be rapidly emptied of their occupants,
like a race to be the first to see their newest idol.
Their eyes will be humbled, and humiliation will cover them.
That is the Day they were promised.
