surah 105 The Elephant

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

O Muhammad, have you not given thought to the people of the Elephant,
 who tried to destroy the Holy Ka'bah at Makkah,
 and who your Sovereign Lord dealt with for you?

Didn't He cause their plans to fail and them to perish?

And, He sent flocks of birds against them,

striking them with hail of clay pellets,

and making them like half-chewed straw from cattle.
