Surah 93 morning light

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

By the first morning Light,

And, by the Night when it covers with darkness, and becomes still,

Your Sovereign Lord has not abandoned You, O Muhammad,

nor has He taken aversion to you.

And, the life of the Hereafter is better than the first life.

And, your Sovereign Lord will give you Gardens to dwell in,

and you will be satisfied.

When you were an orphan, didn’t He give you refuge?

And, he found you among the Lost, and Guided you.

And, he found you poor, and gave you of His sustenance.

So, as for the orphans, do not abandon them.

And, as for anyone who seeks knowledge, do not send them away.

But, with regards to the favor of Your Sovereign Lord,

acknowledge it.
