Surah 91 the sun

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

By the sun and its brightness,

and, by the moon that follows it,

and, by the day when it shows itself,

and, by the night when it hides the day,

and, by the skies and the One who created them,

And, by the earth and the One who spread it in the beginning,

And, by the soul and the One who made it to be conscious of Him,

and inspired it to Know right from wrong,

He has succeeded if it is Righteously Pure.

But, the ones who fail are the ones that garner corruption in their souls.

Thamud and his people denied their Messenger because of their sins.

When God sent one of His Signs, the she-camel, they hamstrung her.

And, the Messenger of God said to them,

“Do not harm the she-camel from God,

nor prevent her from drinking water.

But, they denied the Signs, and hamstrung and killed her.

So, their Lord brought destruction upon them for their sins,

and, this justice was given equally between all of them.

And, God does not have to explain the consequences of His actions,

but, his Servants will be asked of all they do in life.
