Surah 76 Mankind

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

Wasn’t there a period of time when there was not even any talk of mankind? 

Indeed, We created mankind from the Clinging Life Substance in the womb, that We might try him; and, We made mankind to hear and to see. 

Verily, We Guided him to the Right Path, whether or not he was grateful. 

Indeed, We have prepared for the DisBelievers a Fiery Blaze that will chain and shackle them for all eternity.

Indeed, the Righteous will be given a cup of sweet nectar juice, the mixture of which comes from Kafur,

 the sweetest smelling spring in Paradise from which the Righteous will drink.

They will make it to gush forth strong and plentiful.

They are those who fulfill their covenant with God, and fear the Day when evil will be widespread.

And, they give food in charity to the orphan and the captive,

 in spite of their love for it,

saying, “We are feeding you for the blessing of Allah only.  We do not wish your gratitude, or want anything for it.

Indeed, we fear from our Sovereign Lord of the Day of Judgment.” 

So, God will protect them on that Day, and give them Paradise and happiness.

And, He will reward them for all they patiently endured in his Holy Name,

with Paradise, and silken fine garments to wear,

They will rest in Paradise on adorned couches.  There they will not feel any heat from the burning sun, nor feel of the freezing cold.

And, near to them will be abundant shade from fruit trees,

and the branches will lower themselves to them to give them fruit to be picked. 

And, among them, they will share silver vessels and cups as clear as glass.

Clear glasses made from the finest silver, 

and therefrom, they will be given a delicious ginger beverage to drink

from the fountain of the Paradise spring of Salsabeel. 

There will be eternally young children, running about, as beautiful

as scattered pearls.

And, when you look in Paradise, you will find great happiness in God’s dominion. 

The inhabitants will wear the finest green silk and brocade garments.

And, they will be adorned with silver bracelets,

and their Sovereign Lord will give them a purifying and satisfying drink. 

And, it will be said, “This is your reward, and We appreciate all you have done.”

Indeed, it is Us that sent down the Qur’an to you, O Muhammad. 

So be patient for your Sovereign Lord’s decision, and do not keep company with sinners, or ungrateful DisBelieving people.

And, mention in prayer your Lord’s Name in both the morning and the evening. 

And, during the night prostrate to Him, and exalt and praise

Him throughout the night.

The DisBelievers treasure the here and now,

and leave behind them nothing but neglect, a sad Day indeed. 

We created and strengthened their bodies, and if We willed it,

We could completely change their bodies entirely to another form.

Indeed, this is a reminder, so that for he who wishes to repent,
can return to the Path of His Sovereign Lord.

And, if it is God's Will, you can will to return to the Right Path. 

And, God is the All Knowing, the Most Wise. 

He accepts repentance and gives Mercy to whom He Wills to.

 But, as for the wrongdoers and DisBelievers,
