96 Clinging Substance

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

Recite in the Name of Your Sovereign Lord who created

Created Mankind from a clinging life substance.

Recite the Qu’ran, and Your Most Sovereign Lord is the Most Generous,

who has taught Mankind by the pen,

That which he Knew not.

No, but indeed, mankind sins,

because he sees himself as self-sufficient.

Indeed, unto Your Sovereign Lord is your return.

Have you seen the person who forbids another to pray?

Have you seen if he is on Right Guidance,

or if commands righteousness when he himself does not have it?

Have you seen if he denies the Truth and turns away?

Does he Know all that God sees?

No, if he does not stop from DisBelief,

We will surely punish him by dragging him by the mane, like an animal.

A lying, shining mane.

Then, let him call upon whom he will,

For We will call upon the Angels of Hell who push the wicked into the Fire.

No, do not obey the DisBeliever in UnBelief,

but rather, bow down and draw close to Allah.
