82 the breaking apart

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

The Day of Judgment when the sky begins to break apart,

and when the stars descend and scatter,

and when the oceans erupt,

and when the contents of the graves are exposed,

a soul will then know what it put forth in life, and what it held back from doing.

O Mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Sovereign Lord,

the Most Generous of all,

who created you, proportioned and balanced each of you?

He assembled you in whatever form He willed to.

But, no!  You still deny the Day of Recompense?

And, indeed over mankind are angels keeping record of the deeds.

Nobly recording, the angels Know all that you do in life.

Indeed, the Righteous will find true happiness.

But, the wicked will be in Hellfire.

They will enter to burn therein on the Day of Recompense,

and never will they leave therefrom.

And, what do you Know of the Day of Recompense?

It is the Day when one soul will have no power over another, or avail another.

And, the command on that Day rests with God.
