81 enveloped in darkness

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

On the Day when the sun is enveloped in darkness,

and the stars descend from the sky, scattering,

and when the mountains are removed from the earth,

and your most prized possessions are neglected,

and when the wild animals are gathered together,

and when the seas are filled with flame, spilling upon one another,

and, when the souls of the various religions are grouped together

with other souls akin to it,

and when the child who was buried alive is asked why it was so,

and the inscription of the recorded deeds of mankind are made public,

and when the sky is stripped away,

and when the Fiery Blaze is set afire,

and when Paradise is brought near,

a soul will know what deeds it has brought with it to the Hereafter.

So, I promise by the distant stars,

those that run their due course, and then disappear,

and by the night as it descends,

and by the dawn as it emerges,

that indeed the Qur’an is the Word conveyed by God,

by his noble messenger Gabriel,

who is possessed with power to do so by God’s leave,

who obeyed Him and is trustworthy.

And, Prophet Muhammad is not possessed by the jinn, nor the evil it creates.

And, he has already seen Gabriel in the horizon where the sun rises.

And, Muhammad did not withhold any of his knowledge of the Unseen.

And, the Qur’an is not the word of a devil

expelled from the heavens.

So, why do you deny the Qur’an, and make accusations against the Prophet?

It is but a reminder to the worlds,

to whomever among you who wants to find the Right Path.

And, you cannot will except what God Wills for you -

Sovereign Lord of all the worlds.
