80 the Prophet's sadness

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

The Prophet Muhammad became saddened and turned away

because the man was Unseeing to the Truth.

Why did you think, O Muhammad, that he could learn from you the Truth

and perhaps become purified,

or even reminded, or that Faith would benefit him?

As for he who thinks that he does not need Faith, or God,

He is in need of Knowledge and Guidance,

and to him you give assistance.

And, there is no blame upon you, O Muhammad, if he will still not Believe.

But, as for he who strives for knowledge,

and is conscious of God,

from him you are diverted.

No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder of the Revelation of the Qur’an,

so whoever wills may remember it.

It is recorded on honored sheets,

exalted and purified above all others,

carried by the Messenger angels,

noble and dutiful to Allah.

How perverse mankind is, how DisBelieving is he.

From what substance did We create him?

From a single sperm drop We created him,

proportioned and balanced him,

assigned him provisions,

and set his term.

Then, He released him into this world through birth,

and later, caused him to perish,

 and provided a grave for him to rest his lifeless body.

Then, when He Wills, He will resurrected him from the grave.

No!  But, Mankind has not accomplished what God had set out for him to do.

Then, let Mankind look at his food –

how we provided water for his crops,

then, we broke open the earth and provided sprouts of life,

and caused therein to grow grain,

and grapes and vegetables,

and olive trees and palm trees,

and fruit, and alfalfa,

as provisions and enjoyment for you, and for your cattle to graze on.

But, when there comes the Loud Trumpet of Judgment Day,

on the Day when one man will flee  his own brother,

and his mother and father,

and his spouse and children,

but for every person, that Day will be enough to occupy him.

Some faces on that Day will be bright with Light,

laughing and rejoicing for preparation to enter Paradise.

And others on that Day, their faces will be covered with soil.

And, Darkness will envelope them.

Those are the DisBelievers, the evil and wicked people.
