79 removal of the souls

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

By the angels that harshly remove the souls of the DisBelievers

for those destined to Hellfire,

and, by the angels that gently ease out the souls of those destined for Paradise,

and, by those angels who glide effortlessly to carry out God’s command,

and, by the angels that race one another carrying the souls destined for Paradise,

and, those who govern all other matters according to God’s Decree,

On that Day, the trumpet will sound for all creation.

The trumpet will sound again.

The hearts of the DisBelievers will tremble on that Day,

their eyes humbled,

saying, “Will we be returned to the life we had before?

What if we are nothing but a bunch of decaying bones?”

The DisBelievers continued by saying, “If that were true,

that would be an awful way to return to life.”

Indeed, it would be but one blast of the horn,

and, suddenly, all creation would be alerted on the earth.

Has the story of Moses reached you -

when his Lord called out to him the Valley of Tuwa?

“Go to the Pharaoh.  Verily, he has sinned.

And, say to him: “Would you be willing to repent,

and let me Guide you to the ways of my Sovereign Lord,

so you would be conscious of him?”

And, God turned his staff into a snake as a Sign from his Lord.

But, the Pharaoh denied the Truth, and disobeyed God.

And, he turned his back in DisBelief.

And, the Pharaoh gathered his people together, saying,

“I am your exalted lord.”

And, God insulted by Pharaoh declaring himself a deity, set an example and

punished Pharaoh for his first and last sins.

Indeed, in that is a lesson for whoever fears God.

Were you a difficult creation, or were the heavens difficult?

Allah raised the ceiling of the skies and balanced them above.

And, He darkened the night, and then brightened the day.

After that, He spread the earth out,

creating water and pasture alike.

And, He firmly set the mountains,

as enjoyment and provision for you and your livestock.

But, when there comes the Day of Resurrection,

that Day man will remember all that he did in life,

and, Hellfire, will be visible for all to see –

so as for those who sinned,

and preferred the life of this world over the Hereafter,

then, indeed, Hellfire will be their refuge.

But, as for those who stand in Belief before their Sovereign Lord,

whose souls rejected the inclination toward evil on earth,

 Paradise will be their refuge.

They ask you, O Muhammad, about the Day of Resurrection,

when will the Hour come?

He is not in a position to answer it.

To Your Sovereign Lord God is the final answer.

You are but a warner to those who fear the Day.

It will be on that Day that they will see the Hour,

and, it will feel as though they had not been on earth but for a few hours.
