63 the fraudulent ones

'

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

When the fraudulent ones come to you, O Prophet Muhammad,

saying, “We swear that you are the Messenger of God,”

when in their hearts it isn’t so.

However, God Knows that you are His Messenger,

and He Knows that they are liars.

They have taken their promises of Belief as a means of cover,

and they have turned people away from God’s Path.

Verily, it was indeed an evil thing that they were doing.

This is because they Believed in God, and then turned away from Him.

So, their hearts were sealed over.

And, they do not understand the Truth anymore.

And, when you see them, they are very appealing.

And, if they speak, people are willing to listen.

Their bodies are empty, with empty hearts,

like pieces of propped up hollow wood.

They think that every plot is against them uniquely.

When, indeed, they are the enemy.

So beware of them.

How are they so deluded away from the Truth,

don’t they Know that God could destroy them if it was His Will to do so?

And, when they hear, “The Messenger of God can ask forgiveness for you,”

they turn away even then.

It is all the same for them whether you ask forgiveness for them or not,

God will not forgive them for Believing, then turning away from Him.

Verily, God will not Guide a defiantly disobedient people.

They are the people who say,

 “Do not help the people who are with the Messenger until they disband.”

Do they not Know that all sustenance in the heavens and the earth are from Him?

But, yet the hypocrites still do not Understand.

They continue, “Surely, if we return to Medina,

 those in power will oust these lowly people.”

But, to God belongs all glory and honor,

and to His Messengers, and to those who Believe,

don’t they Know this?

O you who Believe, do not let your pursuit of wealth and progeny

deter you from remembering Allah.

And whosoever does so are surely the losers.

And, spend in charity and in God’s causes now

from what We have provided for you

before death approaches you, and you end up saying,

“O My Sovereign Lord, please delay my death for a time so

that I can spend in charity, and be amongst the Righteous.”

But, never will God delay the term of a person when his time has come.

And, God is well-acquainted and Knowing of all you do in life.
