40 most forgiving one

(In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

 

Ha, Meem.

The Revelation of the Qur’an is from God,

The Most Exalted in Might, the Most Wise.

He is the Most Forgiving One, the one who receives repentance,

the owner of all Bounty and Sustenance,

yet strict in punishment to those who DisBelieve in Him.

There is no god but Him, and Allah is the Eternal Refuge.

No one ignores all of God’s Signs except those who DisBelieve,

so don’t let them mislead you astray, as they travel throughout the land.

The people of Noah DisBelieved, as did some of the people after them.

And, every people did scheme or seize God’s Messenger,

making lies to turn people away from the Truth.

So He destroyed them, and how terrible the punishment was.

And, those who DisBelieve are decreed by God to be Companions of Hellfire.

The angels who bear the Heavenly Throne, and those around it,

exalt and give praise to their Sovereign Lord God, and they Believe in Him,

and ask forgiveness for the Believers, saying,

“Our Sovereign Lord, You Know all things and are the Most Merciful,

so please forgive those who have ask for Your Mercy,

those who have followed the Right Path,

and shield them from the punishment of Hellfire.

Our Sovereign Lord, welcome them into the Gardens of Paradise

wherein they will dwell forever,

that you promised them and their forefathers and family.

You are without a doubt the Most Exalted in Might, the Most Wise.

And, shield them from the punishment of their bad actions and deeds.

And, those You have protected from Hellfire, You have bestowed Your Mercy.

And, that is the greatest reward of all.”

However, those who DisBelieved will be told, “The wrath of God is

worse than the hatred of yourselves, and even though

you were invited to Believe in God, you turned away from Him.”

And, they will reply, “O Sovereign Lord, you have brought us to life,

and caused us to die in the first life and the Hereafter,

 is there any escape from all of this?”

And the reply was, “This is because when God called upon you to Believe in Him

 alone, you turned away from Him.

But, if you were allowed to call upon “lords” who were associated with Him,

you then decided to believe.

Therefore, judgment rests with God alone, the Most Exalted, the Most Great.”

It is Allah who descends rain from the sky, as a means of providing life to you,

and as a Sign to mankind.

And, those who turn to God remember and worship Him.

 So call upon Allah with a sincere heart, although the DisBelievers may not like it.

God is the Most Exalted, the Supreme Throne of Authority;

and He descends His Revelation to whom He Wills of His followers

to caution mankind about Judgment Day.

And, on that Day, nothing will be hidden from Him.

To whom belongs Judgment on this Day?

To the one True God, the Most Triumphant.

And, on this Day, everyone will be rewarded or punished for what they did in life.

And, Justice will be had on this Day!

Unquestionably, He is also very quick in account.

And, warn them, O Muhammad, of the Inevitable Day,

when people’s hearts will be so tight with worry

that it feels like it is in their throat.

For those who have done wrong, there will be no friend to help them,

nor any being to save them.

And, Allah knows all that lays hidden in the hearts of mankind,

and what deludes your vision.

And, God judges all in Truth and Justice, while the deities they call upon

are not in a position to judge anything.

Really, God - is the All Hearing and All Seeing.

Haven’t they traveled throughout the land

and seen the end of those who DisBelieve in Him?

They were grander in strength and in size on the land,

but God destroyed them for their transgressions.

And, they had no one to help them.

This was because their Messenger was sent to them with Clear Proof,

and still they DisBelieved, so they were destroyed.

Really, God is the Most Powerful, and strict in punishment

to those who DisBelieve.

And, We also sent to Moses Our Clear Signs and Might.

But, Pharaoh, Haman and Qarun did not Believe in the Signs, saying,

“He is but a clever sorcerer, and he is creating nothing but lies.”

And, when He showed them the Truth, they said, “Kill the sons of his followers,

but keep the mothers alive.”

But, the scheme of the DisBelievers was nothing but wrong.

And, Pharaoh said, “I will kill this Moses, and then speak to his God.

Indeed, he is changing their feelings and belief in me,

 and spreading dissension throughout the land.”

But Moses said, “I seek refuge in my Sovereign Lord God,

and your Lord God, from every defiant DisBeliever

who does not Believe in the Final Accounting.”

And, one of the Believing people from Pharaoh’s people begged him,

saying, “Would you kill a man merely because he says that

‘His Sovereign Lord is God’ when he has shown you Clear Proof

from Your Sovereign Lord God?

And, if he should telling a lie, then the burden of the lie is upon him.

But, if he is being truthful, some of what he promised might actually strike you.

In reality, God will not Guide someone who is a sinner and a liar.

O my people, today the power is in our hands.

But, who will protect us from God’s punishment when it comes to us?”

And, Pharaoh replied, “I only explain that which I see.

And, I do not lead you but to the correct way.”

And, the Believing man said, “Indeed, I fear for you my people,

like the fate of those who rejected the Messengers before us,

those of the people of Noah, ‘Aad, Thamud, and the people after them.

But, know that God is not unjust to His followers.

And, I fear the Last Day,

the Day you will turn your back and run; there is no protector

for you besides Allah.

And, whoever Allah allows to go astray, there will be no guide for him.

And, Joseph came with Clear Proof, but you didn’t listen to what he told you,

until when he died you said, ‘God will never send another Messenger.’

And, God will let those who sin and DisBelieve go astray.”

Those who reject God’s Clear Signs without any reason to –

 God’s wrath will be upon them, and the Believers will steer clear of them.

And, God seals the hearts over of those who are arrogant in DisBelief.

And, Pharaoh said, “Make for me a tower Haman which rises

to the heavens – so I can look at Moses’ God; but, in reality, I think he is a liar.”

And thus, this deed was made to look attractive to Pharaoh,

and he was turned away from God’s Right Path.

And, his scheme was reduced to rubble.

And, the Believing man said, “O people, stay to the Right Path,

along with me, and I will show you the kind and proper manner of conduct.”

O people, this earthly life is a fleeting enjoyment, and really, the Hereafter

is the home of permanent community.

Whoever commits an evil act will be punished with a like one; but,

whoever does Righteous good deeds, whether he is a man or woman,

while he or she is a Believer – will enter the Gardens of Paradise.

being given sustenance therein without measure.

And, why, O My friends is it that I welcome you to salvation,

and you invite me to the Fiery Blaze?

You want me to DisBelieve in God, and associate others with Him,

while I don't have any knowledge of it?  But, I forgive you and welcome you

to Belief in the Most Exalted, the Most Forgiving One.

That which you want me to believe in will not answer my prayers in this life,

or the Hereafter, and in reality, our final return is to God. 

But, the sinners will be Companions of the Fire.

And, remember what I am saying to you. 

I entrust all my life and my affairs to God.

Undeniably, He is aware of His followers.”

So, God protected them from the schemes they were plotting,

and Pharaoh’s people were engulfed by the worst punishment.

They were exposed to the Fiery Blaze from death to eternity.

And, the Day the Final Hour descends, it will be said to them,

“Force Pharaoh’s people into the Fire.”

And, they will argue within the Fire as well, and the slaves will ask of the

arrogant, “Really, we were only following you, so can you alleviate

some portion of the Fire from us?”

The arrogant ones will reply, “Really, we are all in this together.

Without a doubt, God has judged already between the people.”

And, those in the Fiery Blaze will say to the angels watching over Hellfire,

“Beg your Lord to lighten this punishment for a day.”

They will reply, “Didn’t a Messenger come to you with Clear Evidence?”

They will say, “Yes.”

And, the angels will say, “Then beg for yourself,
 
but the pleas of the DisBelievers

won’t be heard and are futile.”

Without a doubt, We support Our Messengers and the Believers in this life,

and on Judgment Day when the angels will stand witness –

The Day when the transgressors’ excuses will not help them at all,

and they will be cursed with the worst abode of Hellfire.

And, We most assuredly guided Moses, and We gave the Hebrews the Scripture,

as True Guidance, and as a reminder to those of True Knowledge.

So, wait, O Muhammad, for God’s covenant is the Truth.

And, ask forgiveness for your sins, and for the sins of the Believers,

and exalt and give praise to your Sovereign Lord God, in the morning and evening.

Really, those who argue about God’s Signs

without any authority been given to them,

there is nothing in their hearts but empty arrogance,

the extent of which they themselves don’t even know.

Thus, seek refuge in Allah.  In truth, He is the All Seeing, All Hearing.

And, the creation of the Heavens and the earth was mightier than

even the creatures He made therein, but many still don’t Believe in Him.

And. the person who sees the Light is not equal to the one who seeks Darkness.

And, the person who commits evil is not equal to the Believer

who does Righteous good deeds in life.

But, little do you remember at times.

And, indeed, the Final Hour is approaching, of that there is no doubt,

but, many still do not Believe.

And, your Sovereign Lord God says, “Call unto Me; and I will respond to you.”

Indeed, those who scorn My worship will enter into disgraceful Hellfire.

And, it is God that gave you the nights so that you might seek rest therein,

and the days so that you might see the Light.

In reality, God is full of Bounty and Sustenance to His Believers,

but many people are not thankful to Him.

It is God, your Sovereign Lord, the Creator of all things;

There is no God but Him, so why are you misled?

There were those misled before you who rejected God’s Signs.

It is He who made the earth a resting place for you,

and the sky a ceiling adorned with stars.

And, He fashioned you, and perfected you,

and provided to you of His Sustenance.

He is God, your Sovereign Lord,

and blessed is He, Lord of all the worlds.

He is the Eternal; there is no God but Him,

so call upon Him with sincerity of heart.

All praise and glory is due to Allah,

Sovereign Lord of all the worlds.

Remind them, O Muhammad, “I am forbidden to call upon any other being

or deity besides God, once you have been shown the Clear Signs of your Lord,

and I am directed to submit to the Sovereign Lord of all the worlds.”

It is God who fashioned you from dust, then a single sperm drop;

then to the clinging life substance in the womb;

 then He breathes life into you as a child;

then that you reach adulthood; and then grow to be seniors.

And, some are taken in death before that, but each person reaches

 his or her specified term in life;

and perhaps, you will understand what I am saying.

It is God who creates life, and then causes one to perish after his term.

And, He decrees a matter, He says, “Be” and it comes into being.

Have you not thought about the people who reject God’s Signs –

how do they turn away from Him?

Those who do not Believe in God’s Word,

and that which We Revealed to the Messengers –

they are going to find in the End

shackles and chains of Hellfire about them; they will be forced

into scalding water; then engulfed by the Fiery Blaze.

And, it will be said to them,

 “Where is that being that you called upon and worshiped

other than God now? 

They will reply, “They left us here, and we did not call upon anything before.”

And, God does let the DisBelievers go astray.

And the angels say, “This was because you used to gloat on the earth

without right to do so, and you behaved so badly.

Enter into the gates of Hellfire for all eternity,

and it is a horrible destination indeed for the arrogant.”

So, wait, O Muhammad, for God’s Covenant is the Truth.

And, whether We demonstrate to them of Our Power, or cause them to perish,

they will all be returned to us all the same.

And, We have already sent God’s Servants before you.

And, among them are stories we have told you, and some we have not.

And, it is not for God’s Servants to demonstrate a sign but by His Leave.

So, when the Final Hour has come, all will be judged with justice and in Truth,

and those who aren’t true to the Faith will be among the Lost.

It is God who created animals to ride, or to lawfully consume.

And, He has given to you other assistance, too,

and, you may find while upon them other needs in your heart,

 as well as upon the ships that carry you to sea.

And, He demonstrates His Signs to you.

So, which of God’s Signs do you reject?

Haven’t you traveled throughout the land,

and seen what became of those before them?

They were greater in numbers than you, and mightier in strength,

leaving a greater impression on the land than yourselves,

but, in the End they were not helped by the good they did in life.

And, when God’s Servants came to them with Clear Proof;

some were content with what they understood,

but were taken under by that what they used to make fun of.

And, when they saw the punishment of Hellfire, they will come saying,

“We now Believe in God alone, and reject those we called upon besides Him.”

But, their last ditch effort to find Faith failed them

as they saw the punishment.

God’s Servants did pave the way to the Right Path for them in life.

But, the DisBelievers went astray, and were consequently among the Lost.
